Wish’s ProductBoost is a tool that “boosts” your product on the platform. It’s designed with the goal of reaching your most promising customers in order to increase sales. With ProductBoost, sellers can create multiple different campaigns for different products, and boosted products tend to move higher up in rankings. It’s a helpful tool for merchants looking to get their best-selling items in front of buyers quickly and efficiently.

How Does it Work?

ProductBoost utilizes a special algorithm to decide how and where to showcase your highest-performing products for maximum visibility. These products will show up on the Wish app and website in places where the algorithm has determined they’ll have the best shot at being sold.

Why Should I Use It?

The ProductBoost tool boosts your product listings in order for them to be seen by the customers most likely to purchase them. This, in short, helps to increase sales, so by using ProductBoost you’re not only gaining insight into your best-selling items but ultimately generating more revenue from these products over time.

Getting Started With Campaigns

ProductBoost makes it easy for merchants to create and manage product campaigns within the Wish platform. These campaigns are run to help increase exposure for your top products. For each product campaign, sellers can set parameters such as the desired budget and duration of the campaign. One of the most convenient ways to manage these campaigns is through Merchant Dashboard, and there are a few simple steps you can take to get things up and running smoothly.

  1. Select “Create Campaign” from the ProductBoost menu
  2. Fill out the campaign information, including name and duration time.
  3. Select the number of products you’d like—Wish allows you to choose up to 200 items per campaign.
  4. Using the Keyword Tool, add optional keywords.
  5. Determine budgetary restrictions.

Once you’ve filled out the required information, hit “save the campaign,” and your campaign is live.

Campaign Status

When managing campaigns, you’ll want to take note of their status. ProductBoost

assigns one of six statuses to your campaign at any given time: new, scheduled, on-going (training), on-going, action required, or ended.

  • New: If your campaign is marked as “new,” that just means it’s a newly-created campaign that’s still editable.
  • Scheduled: “Scheduled” campaigns have been submitted and are due to begin at a predetermined future date.
  • On-going (training): If your campaign’s status reads “on-going (training),” the ProductBoost platform is still trying to learn about it in order to place your product appropriately.
  • On-going: An “on-going” campaign is active and has products that are currently being boosted.
  • Action Required: “Action required” means that your campaign needs to be enabled or recharged.
  • Ended: Once your campaign has finished, its status will change to “ended.”

Campaign Performance Page

ProductBoost provides insights into your campaigns. To view this information, go to the Merchant Dashboard and navigate to ProductBoost > Product Campaign Performance. Here you’ll be able to view the details of your lifetime sales, spend, GMV, and more.

Using ProductBoost to Promote Products With Daily Budget

ProductBoost recently launched a new beta program designed to help sellers manage their spending. Merchants set a daily budget that is then used to promote selected products throughout a given time period, ensuring steadier sales growth. Here’s a quick look at some of the key points of this new experience:

  • By navigating to the Promote Products page on ProductBoost, users can see all of their current listed products. They can also select products to promote and manage their budget.
  • You can search for products based on product ID and other criteria.
  • The IntenseBoost features allows users to showcase their most relevant products as to be seen on the Wish platform in a shorter period of time. This feature is especially useful for new products that are struggling with visibility.
  • Merchants are able to manage products and budget on the Promoted Products page, though note that it can take up to 48 hours for selected changes to the process.
  • You can view product graphs and analytics by clicking the arrow to the left of the listed product.

There are a number of ways Wish sellers can benefit from using the ProductBoost tool, so it’s important to get as much out of it as you can. By taking advantage of campaign and budget features, you’ll be able to boost your products and get a better idea of where your money is going within the platform. Optimizing your products leads to increased impressions, which in turn leads to higher sales.
